"Sehnsucht" is the second album by Rammstein. It was recorded at Temple Studios in Malta and was originally released on August 22, 1997. The songs "Engel" and "Du hast" were released as singles. With "Sehnsucht", the band around Till Lindemann also achieved an international breakthrough. In Germany and Austria it landed at number one in the charts, in the USA at number 45, yet it was even awarded platinum there. For the reissue, all songs were completely remastered in 2015. Fans have been waiting for this for a long time: With "Sehnsucht", the second Rammstein album is finally available on record again in 2017.
