Reissued on vibrant neon green vinyl! The dark enchantment of Ritual Howls sixth album, "Ruin", begins right from the first moments of the lead single, Follow the Sun. The powerful call of Paul Bancells reverberating guitar is beautifully supported by the steady pulse of Chris Samuels drum patterns and the snarl of Ben Saginaws crisp, fuzzed-out bass. Even after more than ten years together, this talented trio keeps sharpening their unique blend of industrial, goth, and post-punk music, reaching new levels of richness. Their sound is a captivating mixhauntingly somber yet irresistibly energetic, raw and intimate yet intriguingly mysterious.

Originally from Detroit, the band has always woven in subtle influences from old school rave culture, creating an intense, physical experience through their heavy, moody, melodic, and carefully crafted music. Since their last album, *Virtue Falters* (2023), Paul Bancell moved to Los Angeles, and much of *Ruin* was recorded remotely. The process culminated in focused sessions with long-time sound engineer Adam Cox back in Michigan. It started with Chris sharing musical ideasbeats, melodies, sounds, riffsand a couple of complete tracks. He and Ben would jam together, and I contributed some guitars from afar, he explains. Despite the distance, Ritual Howls remains a truly collaborative group. *Ruin* is a vibrant testamentthey are still excelling at what they do best.
