Donald Byrds 1974 funk/R&B fusion masterpiece, Stepping Into Tomorrow, was the third album the trumpet legendmade in collaboration with visionary producer Larry Mizell. Featuring the standout title track and Think Twice, thealbum became a touchstone for future hip-hop generations and features Gary Bartz, Fonce Mizell, Chuck Rainey,Harvey Mason and others. This stereo Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray fromthe original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
