Wilfried - Nachts in der City: Live / Musically, the album was clearly influenced by rock cabaret. Since the EAV did not have it's own record deal at the time, it was released on Wilfried's record deal with EMI. Only 2,000 copies were released. It was not until 2015 that it was re-released on CD, followed a year later by a remastered version on vinyl. The original 1978 version is a sought-after rarity among collectors.
