Transparence features two unreleased songs from the same Gigantic Studios sessions during which Asobi Seksu recorded its Polyvinyl debut full-length, Hush.

The lead track "Transparence" is taken from this release, but appears here with a new introduction. An outstanding remix of "Transparence" by the hypnotic percussive group Aa is a highlight.
