With over twenty years, twenty-four albums, and countless bandmates, Robert Pollard, the visionary behind it all, has finally decided to take a bow from one of indie rocks most inventive and lively bands. You cant really say Guided By Voices are ever dull, mainstream, or predictable. Since Pollard formed the gang in Ohio back in the early 1980s with his brother Jimmy and Pete Jamisonthanks to a loan that helped them kick off their first few records'lo-fi perfectly captures their energetic, raw, and uninhibited style of shouting songs.
