CUD Showbiz (1994 UK 12-track LP on A&M Records. A scarce original pressing of Cuds much-loved fourth studio album, capturing the Leeds indie favourites at the height of their big-label swagger. Showbiz marked the bands most confident strideinto the mainstream, pairing their quirky alt-rock charm with a slicker production sheen, and yielding fan favourites such as Neurotica, ESP, Tourniquet, and the infectious You Lead Me. The album remains a cult treasure from the mid-90s UK alternative scene, with original vinyl copies increasingly hard to unearth. Housed in a fully illustrated gatefold picture sleeve, complete with lyric inner sleeve and the all-important fold-out poster, this example has survived the years remarkably well. The sleeve shows only minor signs of its age, with light storage marks but no major faults. The vinyl itself displays very few signs of play, with only the faintest cosmetic evidence of handling nothing that affects playback and sits comfortably in Excellent condition. A genuinely nice copy of this hard-to-find 90s LP, complete with all original components a superb addition for any Cud collector)
