THELONIOUS MONK Underground (2026 UK/EU limited edition 7-track LP pressed on 180-gram Orange Vinyl. Originally released in 1968, Underground is the seventh studio album recorded by Thelonious Monk for Columbia and features Larry Gales on bass, Ben Riley on drums and Charlie Rouse on tenor saxophone. With the exception of one track, the album consists entirely of Monkoriginals, highlighting his distinctive compositional voice and angular jazz phrasing. The striking cover artwork depicts Monk as a member of the French Resistance, an homage to jazz patron Pannonica "Nica" de Koenigswarter. Gold foil numbered picture sleeve with gold hype sticker.
