JOHN COLTRANE My Favourite Things (Classic 1964 UK issue of the 1961 4-track mono vinyl LP on the 'deep groove' maroon & silver Atlantic label with -1B/-1B matrices, originally recorded in 1960 alongside McCoy Tyner, Steve Davis, and Elvin Jones, and the first time Trane played soprano sax on record. Opens with his legendary modal reworking in 6/4 time of the Rodgers-Hammerstein composition, bringing a hypnotic Indian 'raga' feel to jazz unlike anything before! front laminated picture sleeve.
