It is the fifth part in their long-form concept series / story arc, continuing the saga of The Boy at the turn of the 20th century. The album delves into themes of guilt, identity, addiction, corruption, and confession, combining orchestral arrangements, narrative songwriting, and a rich mix of rock, folk, jazz, and experimental elements.
