I am so beyond enormously grateful to every single one of them. I feel the modern concert film is a matriarchally friendly construct, welcomed in the current climatewhere female musicians can share their worlds uncorrupted.
Directed by sold Uggadttir, Cornucopia is Bjrks most ambitious live production to date a powerful fusion of nature, technology, and sound. The film features creative direction, musical arrangements, production, and performance by Bjrk, showcasing her singular vision throughout.
Visual co-creative direction is led by James Merry, with additional contributions from a stellar lineup of artists: Andrew Thomas Huang, Gabrela Fririksdttir, Pierre-Alain Giraud, Nick Knight, Tobias Gremmler, and Warren Du Preez & Nick Thornton-Jones. Their boundary-pushing visuals merge seamlessly with Bjrks avant-garde sonic landscapes.
The production also features the talents of producers Sara Nassim and Kat Mansoor, with Bergur risson serving as musical director and re-recording mixer. Artur Tort provides the films stunning cinematography, while editing comes from Walter Mauriot.
