Mitchell's impressive catalogue of folk albums preceded her successful musical, Hadestown, on Broadway. As a producer and multi-instrumentalist, Kaufman had worked with legends and contemporaries such as Bob Weir and The National to The War on Drugs and Josh Ritter. Johnson had penned intricate indie pop for 25 years as Fruit Bats.
