Originally released in 1973, Brain Salad Surgery is the fourth studio album from British progressive rock titans Emerson, Lake &Palmer - an ambitious, genre-defying epic that certified Gold in both the UK and US. Fusing classical reinterpretation, rock virtuosity, and futuristic themes, this is the band at their most daring and dynamic. Highlights include the thunderousadaptation of Hubert Parry's "Jerusalem", a groundbreaking take on Ginastera's "Toccata", the Greg Lake ballad "Still... You Turn Me On", and the full three-part "Karn Evil 9" suite - one of prog rock's most iconic compositions. Remastered in 2016 by Andy Pearce and Matt Wortham, with lacquer cut by Greg Moore and reissue cover artwork by Hugh Gilmour, including a 3-hole fold-out poster.
