Goose - consisting of Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), Jeff Arevalo (vocals, percussion, drums), and Cotter Ellis (drums) - released their debut album in 2016. They swiftly gained momentum, performing numerous shows and garnering a dedicated fanbase thanks to their distinctive blend of catchy songwriting, skilled musicianship, and lively improvisational performances. For their fourth full-length studio album, Everything Must Go (set to release on April 25, 2025), Goose collaborated once more with D. James Goodwin, who produced their well-received 2022 album, Dripfield. Back at The ISOKON studio in Woodstock, NY, the band challenged themselves to craft another cohesive project that reflects their current creative vision. Mitarotonda likens the album to a mix tape of the band's recent work, featuring a combination of beloved live favorites and fresh tracks, promising to enchant both long-time fans and newcomers alike.
