Lana Del Rey infuses classic sounds into her music, combining the names of famous Hollywood icon Lana Turner and Ford Del Rey. She dubs herself the self-assured "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" and is inspired by the greats Kurt Cobain, Thomas Newman, and Bruce Springsteen. Following the EP Kill Kill (2009) and LP Lizzy Grant a.k.a. Lana Del Rey (5 Points Records, David Kahne producer), the mesmerizing singer unleashed her official debut, Born To Die (Interscope Records, 2012); featuring the powerful "Video Games" and "Blue Jeans".
