Nonstop touring afforded Letters to Cleo an opportunity to develop a harder-edged, more diverse sound, heard to excellent effect on their second record, 1995s Wholesale Meats and Fish. The single, the propulsive Awake, is goodbut the album highlight is definitely Little Rosa, a masterpiece of 60s-influenced jangle pop. Once again, weve had the album remastered for its first widespread vinyl retail release. Highlighter yellow pressing, released with the bands blessing!
