Portishead are the pioneers and inventors of trip-hop and influenced a whole generation of fans and musicians with their very special sound. Due to the long break, no one expected the successor to their cult album "Dummy" (1994) and their last studio album "Portishead" from 1997, which had been announced for years and had been postponed again and again.
