After "My Name Is My Name" (2014; US-Rap: #2) and "King Push Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude" (2015; US-Rap: #1) PUSHA-T releases DAYTONA, his long awaited third solo album. On the first of the five albums produced exclusively by Kanye West in Wyoming, Kanye himself ('What Would Meek Do?') and Rick Ross ('Hard Piano') are feature guests. Already in the early nineties PUSHA-T and his brother Malice celebrated their first successes in the hip-hop scene as a rap duo Clipse and released several successful albums until 2009. As a solo artist he signed a contract with Kanye Wests 'G. in 2010. O.O. D. Music' and was heard on his platinum hit 'Runaway' in the same year. The rapper from Virginia describes the album as the result of musical therapy sessions and makes it clear: "'DAYTONA' stands for the fact that I enjoy the luxury of having time".
