Details
This album started as a reaction to profound sadness over an unnecessary loss of life, starting with the song Thirty-Three. Thirty-three was just supposed to be for family as a way to process. Roshon was, in all accounts, a dormant band that would have an unlikely new beginning when Darwin (Jeremy) decided to give his sister Erica a shot at singing on Thirty-Three. One thing led to another, and now Roshon's first-ever full-length album has a vinyl release.
What Genre is this? We have no clue. It dips into grief, ignorance, and the violence it causes. In addition to exploring being in the moment, self-calming strategies, mental health, unbridled capitalism, selfishness, letting life pass you by, the self-entitled, and learned stupidity.
It is Piss, Vinegar, and Peace all rolled into one.
