The mind-bending visual novel megahit Slay the Princess has arrived on console with the release of Slay the Princess: Pristine Cut to celebrate were bringing its haunting melodies to vinyl.

Lost In Cult Records, Black Tabby Games, and Serenity Forge have teamed up to launch Slay the Princess enigmatic soundtrack as a curated single-LP release.

Prepare to descend into the sanity-shaking world of Slay the Princess with Brandon Boones magical score: from the fantastical-romantic routes of The Damsel or The Thorn, to the crunchy, pulsing brutality of The Fury, the soundtrack really hits about every emotion you can think of. Im incredibly proud of that, Boone shared.

Not only is Slay the Princess OST masterful, but many of its iconic tracks have been revisited and orchestrated which you can hear on this 1LP release.

"Once the game was released, and quite successful, I proposed the idea of hiring an orchestra for a handful of pieces that I felt could benefit, Boone explained. We worked with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra which was an honour and a humbling experience. Orchestrator Catherine Nguyen took my music and prepared it for the orchestra, to best bring it to life. Watching them perform the music was breathtaking. They were flawless.

Equally flawless is the vinyls original cover art from Slay the Princess co-creator and artist, Abby Howard. Its hypnotic composition captures a moment frozen in time or many unfolding simultaneously. Beautiful, disarming, and sinister all at once, the cover art likewise encapsulates the shifting forces within the game.
