The best-selling Tears for Fears album, "Songs from the Big Chair", showed a clear development in the sound of the band and catapulted them to world fame. Tears for Fears were the spearhead of the so-called "Second British Invasion" of pop music that overtook Europe and the USA in the mid-1980s. With different songs from their album they dominated the radio program.
