• The two album by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble from 1984 quickly followed the successful debut and became almost as successful. Critics claim the album was not a development, but forget to mention that Vaughan refused to tour as guitarist for superstar David Bowie in order to bring his own raw blues sound to the band.
  It may not be much new, but it is a statement that it is exactly this sound that should make the new blues.

It confirmed that Stevie Ray was no fluke, and it cemented his status as one of the modern blues giants. Original takes, outtakes and alternate takes of songs from the posthumously released The Sky Is Crying are also included on this double 180 grams audiophile vinyl, which have never before been released on vinyl.
