Sweet Tea is a side project formed in 2009 by friends Alex Maas (Black Angels) and Erika Wennerstrom (Heartless Bastards). The duo spent a day in the studio this spring covering two amazing classic country duets, If I Were a Carpenter and Crazy Arms. Theyll be releasing the songs digitally on iTunes mid July. Fat Possum is pressing a limited edition Sweet Tea 7, which will be available in indie retail outlets early August, though fans wont have to wait thatlong to get their hands on a copy.
